Austin Glass District Showcase
Four studios. Four feature walls. One radiant showcase.
This special exhibition brings together artists from Austin’s public glass studios for a collaborative gallery experience celebrating the many disciplines of glass, fused, stained, blown, and mosaic all under one roof.
March 7 - April 21, 2026
During SXSW, when the city hums at full voltage, this gallery will glow.
When South by Southwest turns Austin into a kaleidoscope of sound, code, film, and late-night tacos, we’re adding one more frequency to the mix: glass.
From luminous fused panels and intricate stained glass to flame-shaped vessels and mosaic works that feel like architecture learning to dance, this exhibition celebrates glass as both material and language.
Artists featured in this showcase come from Austin’s vibrant public glass studios

Each studio features a dedicated wall, highlighting three to five artists who embody the heart and heat of their practice.
Think of it as a conversation in transparency.
Kiln-fired color fields.
Leaded lines catching the afternoon light.
Molten forms paused mid-breath.
Tessellated fragments reassembled into new constellations.
Every wall tells a different story of how sand becomes spellbound.

Whether you’re in town for music, tech, film—or simply wandering with a badge around your neck—step inside for a quieter spectacle.
Cool drinks.
Warm light.
Work made by artists who share tools, torches, kilns, and community across Austin’s creative landscape.
During SXSW, when the city runs loud and fast, this is a place to slow down and look closely.
All are welcome.
Come see what Austin glass looks like when it gathers under one roof.
